CSC cable clamp

Description

This cable clamp enables fixed suspension applications for figure-8 copper cables with steel messenger on telecomaccess networks where spans do not exceed 50 meters.

Its unique and patented design has been developed to provide for a multi-purpose solution meeting the suspension needs on wooden, steel, concrete or composite poles.

Theclamp consists of UV resistant thermoplastic jaws, reinforced with two galvanizedsteel plates and secured by two galvanizedsteel bolts.

Thanks to its straightand slightly curved grooves as well as to its reversible system, this clamp can be installed on figure-8 cables presenting messenger diameters 4 to 9mm.

The clamp has two grooves to cover allmessenger sizes from 4 to 9mm (outer sheath )

It can be installed on all types of poles with one poleband or one pole head bolt

The clamp’s thermoplastic insert enables the release ofthe suspended cable in the event of exceptional verticaloverloads (falling tree, car crush,…), protecting thus thenetwork’s integrity

Each steel reinforcing plate presents a ring eye at anextremity for hanging up a pulley during cable unrollingapplications

The nylon parts provide a 4kV dielectric insulationbetween the cable messenger and the pole/clamp.
